For as many years as I can remember I have had to change my car insurance provider as the annual increase was so much. Last year I went back to CIS after a break of several years, and paid £366. I've just received this year's renewal notice, and instead of the usual jump of £300 to £400 it's risen by £4! Who's a happy bunny then. Anyone else experienced similar?

LV = renewal on my new van only slightly higher than the 10 year old one

Will probably be counteracted by your home insurance when it's due for renewal....Because obviously you will be letting them know the amount of DIY electrical work you've been carrying without sufficient knowledge or even testing? ;)

I usually shop around a few weeks before my renewal is due, then phone my current insurance and say I can get it cheaper with another company, most times they just match the cheapest so they get your custom.
One time I was with admiral, the renewal quote came, so went a comparison site and admiral came up listed with the other providers, and the price on there was cheaper than my renewal!

Had the same thing last time I was with CIS, new policy was appreciably cheaper than renewal, so cancelled existing policy and took out new obe.

I use compare the meerkat, get the free toy which I give to my mates daughter and get the 2 4 1 cinema tickets........

Yeah, I do, but won't be able to this year! Ah well, can't have it all ways!
