Clever stud wall access tools

Takes a bit of hunting to find it on the net, but there's an excellent and fair priced tool called megabore that is basically a set of sturdy 2ft,4ft and 6ft fexible drill shafts will bespoke drill attachments to get through stud walls and the noggins without having to cut the plasterboard half way up. It's only about $200 in the USA but can't find a UK stockist. Looks excellent quality and kit. Anyone used it or heard of it or more importantly, where I can buy it???

Could you not just contact a seller in the USA about exporting it?

Sounds expensive and more junk to lug around. Padsaw is easy enough, causes damage but that's in our nature. Someone's got to keep decorators in work

Yea I could Dillb but it'd be nicer to find a Uk stockist. Probably charge a pretty penny to send it. getting the drill bit replacements might be a stuggle if what's available over here doesn't fit.

..and Danzor, you know it's nice to work clean ! The person quoting the work before/after you will tell the customer it will need redecorating. You can tell them not if you do the job !

There's something very similar on youtube. Type in 'flexible drill bit extension' and it's the first on the list

And besides, who doesn't like their nifty gadgets!

There is a supplier of flexible drillbits (where the drill bit is incorporated into the flexible drive) that I cannot remember the name of at the moment!
These are generally available in the US but they did say they had UK stockists, at the moment the only one I can remember is Newey & Eyre, but you would have to ask them to order it.
Have search on the forum for flexible drill bits.

If you have a system with attachments then you would probably find that the attachment method would make the bit too large to be useful, like on the flexible drive shafts.
