I have had a new kitchen fitted and the electrician fitted 5 under counter lights, moved the ceiling light to a new position, fitted an architrave switch, re-positioned an underfloor heating thermostat and a extractor fan switch. Some of this work was done very poorly. The question I have should this electrician have issued some form of completion certificate or test certificate?

Thanks in anticipation of your replies.

The minimum they should have provided are Minor Works Certificates.
If this follows on from your other thread the chances of you getting anything is highly optimistic.

Thanks westward 10, I may have to look at legal action, although the original electrician has just said he would pay for any repairs. I have contacted another electrician to give me a quote.
