ill happily have your mega breakfast if you want to lose weight lol.

I could do with putting a bit of weight on myself.

had my feet on bender today bending 25mm cause it was lifting me off ground lol
 
They ain't getting my money no way, loosing weight when you are in your 50's is bloody hard, 16 stone and still growing. lol
 
My brother recently started on something called the paleo diet. The basic gist is that paleolithic man evolved to eat certain types of food, and our bodies can't process our modern diets.
It basically limits you to fresh meat, fruit, and veg. Anything derived from grains is out, as are pulses, rice, dairy, salt and sugar.
It also works as a way to get rid of the highly processed, low nutrition, by-product and chemical laden rubbish that forms most of our modern diet.

He says it has made him feel amazing. Better sleep, more energy, more alert, and he is going to carry it on for the rest of his life. The weight has also just fallen off him but that's not his reason for doing it. He says he is less hungry and requires less food as his diet is so much more nutritional. He also eats some amazing looking meals !

It's not for me ..I already eat quite healthy without going to this extreme, but this may be interesting to someone.

Once you've experimented with different cooking times and the blend of herbs and spices it's not difficult to do better than the muck KFC peddle as fried chicken.
I like to give mine a coating of breadcrumbs after the seasoned flour, which makes it nice and crispy.

Could we have a picture of the fried chicken please?

There was a documentary on the other night about the best and worst diets in the world, rated on things like obesity and diet related medical conditions. They were all different, in fact what they considered 'the best' diets were all considerably different, but generally speaking the worst were full of American processed food, and the best were where they had processed the food the least.

As Pete says. Its not normal for guys to go on a diet.
Regarding your 5 a day. This includes carrot cake, Wine (grapes), Doughnuts with fruit filling.... you get the idea.
They do say that its now 7-a-day....

It's 7 a day because we are all on catch up because we haven't been eating 5 a day

Suggest that sex is a great calorie burner and that you should have sex whenever possible.... that usually stops the diet in its tracks..

Tried that one years ago didn't get me any more exercise

I'm lucky to have a wife who loves to cook so I get excellent food and she tries to make sure it's healthy.
Most of our meals have a salad on the side and we don't eat a lot of red meat.

My Mrs but on loads of pounds. The other day she was talking about whether se should have a boob job to get them enlarged. I merely handed her a piece of toilet paper. When she asked why I said use it on your ----- to enlarge them. Her response was " rubbish that won't work", I replied "really well it certainly worked on your ---".
She's now not talking to me which is good!

A little story.
The Mrs was submitting pics to a food blog. But the quality of the presentation seemed to be more important than the quality of the food. She was understandably a bit disheartened by the rejection of the pics. Artistic it needed to be.
