Hello,
I am passionate about DIY but I will not hesitate to hire licensed electrician when required. I have Electronic Engineering degree but it predates the internet so I will not claim to be an expert also because I make a living in the US Navy. I live in Virginia and the quality of home building is a bit different from the west coast.
