Tel, what is a double single malt?
Is it a single malt x 2, or a double malt?
I can't post this in the thread you mentioned it on...something to do with sockets not working.
Please help!
(Confused of Glasgow)

ok.a single maltis a whisky that is not blended from 2 or more different malts. it's a single malt.
a double is a measure of volume, double the size of a single measure, which is 25mL, so a double measure is 50mL.or, in my world, 4 fingers. (and my fingers are not thin).

One of the things I like about spending time in the US, measurements are 1oz for single and 2oz for double.

Beer is in oz too, but not often can get a full pints worth.

can't get to grips with this metric malarky. 2 fingers is nice. 4 fingers is a bedtime sip.

In Northern Ireland a single measure is 35ml
