Its the original outside wall of the house. Theres a steel beam in there and some timber framing. I am standing in what was the outside.
Both roofers, (the original, and who did the repair) are adament they did the roof correctly.... which maybe is right... but theres certainly water being driven in only when its raining and very windy.
I think its getting blown in under the lead flashing, and up over the top row of slates.... but seemingly, thats impossible.
I think a bead of silicon or something under the lead would be enough to stop this.... but in the past, they've just run loads of it along the top where the lead meets the wall.
