Has anybody got a good copy that you can read of the pocket guide for bathroom zones I checked the one in the stickies and it was not very good.
Also I do work for a couple of letting agents and have it a couple of snags that I need to bounce of somebody so here goes.
Gas service company rips away the undergrowth of external gas meter and declares on the report "No main earthing at the gas meter" so I had a look at it and there is no access to the meter but Telectrix pointed me in the right direction ie reg 544.1.2 that states
"The main equipotential bonding to any gas or water service shall be made as near as practicable to the point of entry of that service to the premises. Where practicable the connection shall be made within 600mm of the meter outlet union or at the point of entry to the building if the meter is external."
So yep I sussed this out as they need to dig up work but want to make sure I have the info at hand incase it comes to a fighting match.
Also EICR a company that does the HMO properties have put in an unsatisfactory on 2 points C2 screw missing from light switch ? and bathroom light fitting is the wrong IP rating yet this is a tenement house ie ceiling hight is 3.5 metres so this is outside the zone ie 2.25M am I right in saying this.
