hello guys, I am about to start an apprenticeship next week and im going to have to do my cscs test, i'm starting work next week for a company called nomenca who do all the electrics for south west water and the boss has said ill have to do my cscs test, is he referring to the ecs test or general cscs test because i thought the cscs was for general site work, if someone could help so i know what to revise on that would be great.

you could go for either , both will get you on a work site.

similar price , slighty different assessments as ecs is biased towards electrical and cscs general H&S , but neither difficult.

if you can wait till youve actually started your apprenticeship then i'd get the ecs card as you can get electrical trainee grade , but if you need it straight away to start work get the cscs card , it will be quicker to get hold of.
