Discuss EICR & Yearly Inspection in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net
Dunno Micheal, please tell.recently a contractor offered a client a EICR combined with a yearly inspection for the next year. The yearly inspection was a third of the price of the EICR. What do you think the yearly inspection consists of? It's a commercial installation
Surely the following year inspection should pick up on any odd or low readings .....
As Essex sayz a visual inspection but i would of thoughtbthe client could do that themselfs , Checked for damaged accessories etc
Sorry thought you had the answerNo Idea Pete
There is more to a visual inspection than that or should be.As Essex sayz a visual inspection but i would of thoughtbthe client could do that themselfs , Checked for damaged accessories etc
Far comment did not think about thatDepends. We do a lot of visuals and it is usually large organisations that may not be working in the buildings.
Yes agree there should be. maybe the op should ask the company what is involved in the yearly checksThere is more to a visual inspection than that or should be.
Sorry, should have said one was a car showroom & garage the other was a golf clubhouse and restaurant. If you were referring to my post. What sort of installation? Shop, warehouse, factory etc?
