Hi all anybody had any experience with or knows if the socket and see meters are any good as was just looking at their brochure

Hi Mikey12
Havent used one but they seem good testers also on the NICEIC domestic initial test/verification dvd as well as the megger Tony cable used a socket & see no trip loop tester.

Kung.

thanks kung for reply might consider these meters as they come in a set of three or a megger 1552 undecided yet and with socket and see you get a few added extras as well if you pay a bit more :)

I have the Kewtech multi and must admit do also like the meggers, socket & see seem to also sell well and like kewtech also do their lightmates i also have the bc one works well and also worth getting the R2 socket adapter.
Regards
Kung

There not bad but mine is the KT61 good tester and ive seen them for about £300 there are a couple of little snags :-
1 no pfc reading so need to calc
2 doesnt have no-trip loop test so again calcs
3 500v dc fixed IR test so no selv/pelv
apart from these snags its still a good, small, cheap multi but is worth paying few quid more for the KT64.

I also have the KT61, it will do a no-trip loop test but will only give you a reading of <1ohm, 1ohm or >1ohm, so a waste of time really. thinking of upgrading my meter soon.
