if your tests on the existing circuits are good, then it's fine to leave it alone. would you scrap your car if it was a 2000 model with no ABS or airbags?

If it had no airbags I would :) Love to have my nose hurting and be covered in powder after a crash.

My understanding was that white t&e has been out for some time and would/could be coming to the end of it recommended life (installation date unsure). It is a small systems and the client is a friend as well, so am just seeing what the best options are for them. Most of the cabling is in trunking and would only take about 3 days with two of us to change over. I just did not want to put there house back together to find it was best to change over.

Maybe it is coming to the end of its recommended life? I don't know, when I tested my in laws (see my earlier post) all IR results were >500M ohms and got very good live and dead tests throughout!
