I am looking at plugging a medium-sized (85L) freezer into somewhere else and will need an extension for it. It's a fairly new freezer, bought 6 months ago.
Would one like this be safe to leave it plugged into?

Personally I would choose a simple single socket extension lead of the length you need, such as:
The reel you show has a usb power supply gadget which is something else to go wrong(!), has an overload cutout that might be more trouble than it's worth on a freezer, and there could be a temptation to leave cable wound on the reel, which is not a good idea with heavier loads.

Go for a simple lead from a reputable manufacturer. A lot cheaper too!
