Hi guys,

EICR

Have a 125a cammando socket protected by a 100amp 100ma RCCB at the unit and it’s OCPD is the fuses in the cut out rated at 100a.

Everything is within 3 meters.

System is TT.

Firstly is this rating of RCCB and supply suitable for socket? If not how would it be coded?

Secondly does this socket needs its own OCPD and isolator? If not how would it be coded?

Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

The rating of the RCD should be dictated by the protective device unless the RCD is actually an RCBO. As it exists the protective devices are the 100A fuses at the service head so the RCD is fine but yes it should not be relying on these fuses so I would Code 2 it.
