JIB Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) Finally applied for jib card. Eligible for gold card ?

Finally pulled my finger out and sent off the documents today for a jib card. As I noticed my ECS test expires early next year I thought I best get it sent off. Im pretty sure I'm eligible for a gold card but just after someone to clarify and how long It roughly takes to process.

i have level 2/3. NVQ 3. AM2 and apprenticeship cert.

yea you will get gold card, lets hope you rang them up coz you will need a sponsor or your employer for a reference mate??/

6-8 weeks is the norm for initial applications for your first card.
