hi, i am just wondering if i can please ask if the set up below is okay/safe, i've recently had some low voltage led lights installed by a family friend and i just wanted to be on the safe side and ask if the set up is safe at all, (sorry overly cautious) thank you

Is there any reason you believe it isn’t safe?

The plan sounds ok, as long as there’s a 3A fuse in the switch fuse.
Also is the switch fuse on the same circuit as sockets… or on its own?
If it’s on its own, it could just be connected directly from the consumer unit with an appropriate overcurrent device.

It should have RCD protection… even upstream supplying the garage CU.

What we really need to see is photographs of the installation… then we can nit-pick properly.

What cable has been used? From the board to the switched fuse and then to the outside lights.......Also this is a new circuit when is he going to issue you with an EIC for building control and your house insurance?
