Ladies and gentlemen...
I'm sure we have all had better years than 2020, and I'm equally sure we all hope for a better year in 2021, not just for ourselves and our families, but also for our fellow electricians (and even other trades/professionals!).

I live alone, that's been my choice, so i was always able to regulate my socialising as I saw fit, but 2020 has been so different. I never considered myself lonely, but when isolation is "forced" upon you, sometimes the chinks begin to show. Fortunately, I do not feel i have suffered unduly from lockdown, but I know many have.

I love this forum for its information, humour, disparate views and indeed the respect shown by the vast majority to all-comers.
It has been a life-line for me, not that I thought I needed one...but I now acknowledge that it has certainly helped enormously to have the interchanges of all you people on here, admin, mods and all members. I won't list names, because there are too many to thank (and I'd hate to miss anyone!) but I will take this opportunity to say "thank you" for everything you bring to this platform.
I have benefited in so many ways from all the chat, the input, the solid information and the banter...everything a good forum should provide...so I wanted to thank everyone and wish you all a happier, healthy 2021.
Stay safe, and keep your contributions coming!

Well 2020 will go down in history and be spoken about for centuries' that's for sure.
Yep you summed up this forum ,it is a fantastic place loads of knowledge, I've had a terrible year with my health , lost my job because of my back can hardly walk.
Still lets hope 2021 will be better for us all in these depressing times.
