mate of mine has asked me to re-route his sky cables. He wants them to enter the house straight under the ground floor floorboards so they are straight into the void so they can go over to the other side of room. The hole needed will be 1 brick below the DPM

no issues with this is there? Cant seem to think of any but I have never seen it before, usually enter above boards into a faceplate and chase down if required under boards

Im in trouble for not posting so figure I can give you an answer on this one-:
Putting cable through one brick below dpc could give you a bad back or a nose blead. due to bending down.
Most sky instalers are trained to use their drill like a six gun held just above wast height whilst down on one knee.
