Gu10 flicker

In need of a little help please.
I have a customer with 10 gu10 12v 20w
down-lights on a push on/off dimmer.

On full brightness all the lights pulse/flicker regularly every 1-2 seconds.
dim them slightly and the pulse stops.

The dimmer is a 230v 50 hz
40w/va-220w/180va.

Anyone able to help?

i'd start by swapping the dimmer.

try a normal switch if ok dimmer if not loose connection or change them for mains voltage leds
