Apart from the obvious I have a pair of Wiha Inomic needle nose pliers. These are the ones with the nose at 90 regress to the handle. Having large hands and fat fingers they are invaluable for fitting cables into those awkwardly placed terminations. Normal long nose pliers are just not as easy to use. Can't manage without my head torch either

We've all forgotten our most useful tool we use every day:

what my old boss used to call a "Knocking Bar". It was a piece of 20mm metal conduit approx 300m long with about 150mm bashed flat and a slight curve on it. We used it for chasing behind skirting boards when doing re-wire's. Hope it makes sense lol

A couple of not so useful tools.... bush spanners that don't fit the brass bushes any more now that they are making them using less material, grrr!

I know what you mean but I think it's the new style bushes as apparently there a lot softer than they used to be! I have one of them prong style spanners and also the traditional open ended one.

head torch
ratchet crimper
magnet
right angled screwdrivers
automatic strippers

all I can think of off top of me head

Fein multi-master the neatest way to take up floorboards, notch out for trunking. A decent set of cable rods, not as gd as trunking lid but works out cheaper in the long run. SDS scutch chisel, Henry hover my best friend and the customers
