I have a metal framed suspended ceiling 150mm depth below a kitchen and bathroom of the flat above
With 100mm earth wool insulation, can I or is it safe to use 7 fire rated cast downlighters with bulbs of the energy class d of 120 depth
220×220×150 galvinised downlight light insulation guards ?
Energy class A++to E are compatible with this unit

Is there an intact plasterboard ceiling above the suspended ceiling?

Mostly intact holes where once there was leaks
2 down lights are under gaps and between joists

fit LED downlights and forget it.

I agree with Tel... as much as it pains me :willy_nilly:

I know that JCC make sealed LED units that can be placed without the need of a hood.
