Just thought I would say hi to everyone on this forum. I am David 45 from Northampton and was just wondering if this career would be a good choice at my age? Been in injection moulding tool setting and automotive engineering for most of my working life. Looking for a change of careers. Any advice on qualifications and practical experience would be great.

I have decided to have a mid life crisis like yourself aged 43 and take the career change plunge too.
I am taking the evening courses route starting with C&G level 2 this year.

Who are you doing the level 2 with a local college or national trainer?

Yes a local college to me has C&G lvl 2 and 3 courses to offer as evening classes two or 3 times a week.

Preferred this route than some of the silly priced crash courses, plus it works around my current job as a mechanical engineer.
