Trying to wire up an outdoor flood light, I have a 240 volt line in (two hot one ground)
any guidance on how to connect to terminal block?

If codes permit, connect one 120V hot to the 240 terminal and the other hot to 0. The neutral is not needed. This will deliver 240V to the lamp circuit which will function, but will also result in the outer contact of the lamp socket being hot. I am not sure whether this is acceptable for safety reasons under the NEC.
