If you're a qualified, trainee, or retired electrician - Which country is it that your work will be / is / was aimed at?
United Kingdom
What type of forum member are you?
DIY or Homeowner (Perhaps seeking pro advice, or an electrician)
I'm a DIYer and NOT planning on taking on the job of a professional, but looking to lean on the collective brains of the pros to try and help me (and my electrician) work out what's going on in my house.

Appreciate everyone's help

Good question, so what is going on in your house that the electrician can't do?.

Hey buzzlightyear,

I was planning on posting in one of the other forums - can I post in the Professional one (to get their eyes on it) or is that forum reserved for pro to pro conversation?

It looks like the Professional forum may be locked so I've posted in the general Electricians forum. Hope you can help.
