So I seen an add while on Facebook for these little clips you put over your cable in the fuseboard and they change colour over 70oC from purple to pink. I really can’t see why this would be useful. Maybe I am missing something. Has anyone ever used them or knows why they would be useful. They way I see it only an electrician or competent person would have the cover off the consumer unit and would be skilled enough to identify if there was a connection sitting at 70oC.
