Woke up to my fridge clicking on and off every few seconds. It seems like it’s trying to start but then a relay/switch trips and it turns off. The lights inside and the LED display go off as well when it “clicks”. Here’s a video
Is this a common fault that’s easy to fix by replacing a part or do I need to get a specialist to look into it?
Thanks in advance
- TL;DR
- Fridge stuck in a restart loop
A few months have passed, did you manage to deal with this problem? If so, please share the solution for those who come across a similar situation. I decided to read the
instructions for this model and found several possible reasons:
1. Motor protection control is triggered
2. Problem with the motor protection relay (should turn on 8 minutes after connecting)
3. Unreliable connection of the power cable
4. Incorrectly set positions of the refrigerator and freezer knobs.
