Hi, I have seen a course offering 2391, 2382 and 2377 but no mention of 2330. (its like speaking in code). So what would 2330 prevent me from doing. Is it important to do this???

2330 is the 'recognised' C&G qualification for electrical installation. It is what apprentices study over 3 - 4 years (Level 2 being 2 years approx and L3 being the 3rd year). Basically, if you want to do all kinds of electrical work then this is the right course for you pretty much. However, if you just want to do domestic work then there are other courses available such as the EAL domestic installers course. One of the more popular routes is to do your 2330, then 2382 (17th Regs), then 2391 or 2381 testing and inspecting.

Fundamentally, 2330 is your grounding qualification within the industry and I would advise that you try to get this first and then you can advance your quals from there.

See this post - am sure it covers things nicely:

Hope that helps
