Hi everyone!
I just took over an SCADA system and i discovered we have an iPS with an UPS.
There have been a trouble with iPS. A long beep every 3 seconds with LED "communication indicator" is RED. It seems battery is missing. I have just graduated and have no experience. How can I do to solve this problem?
Btw, it is a IDEALPLUSING iPS-RS22040

If the 3 second beep indicates a battery problem, although it is there… check the terminals are tight into the battery, or replace the battery.
They possibly have a “replace by” date on them.

I don’t know the equipment at all, so I only assume the battery is the square brick type you find in fire alarm panels.

Hopefully someone else has had experience with these.

Actually, they're not popular. I can't even find the User Manual. I only know they are used for high voltage power plants and substations. And the square brick you mentioned is a Rectifier module ?

Try this
I see. Thank you. I'm not sure it helps me much, but I'll try
