Want some, where did you get it, or more importantly where can I get some?

Have used it in Sweden, its very good. Better than Bradex easystart which has been around for as long as I can remember, I wouldn't use it as an alternative to WD40 though. lol

The problem with the likes of Bradex easy start is the engine becomes addicted to it. We had a John Deere FEL (it got christened John Oh Dear) there was no chance of getting it going without it’s “fix”. The production lads weren’t allowed to have easy start so we had to start the damn thing.

I was told about the engines getting addicted years ago and it is complete BS. The reason you begin to use easy start ( in this country anyway) is because the engine is worn out. You then continue to use it because a worn engine is not going to get any better. It cannot physically get addicted.

Explain why a brand new engine wouldn’t start without it. I’m no diesel fitter having avoided them all my live.

Back in the early 80s, I wouldn't go anywhere without a can of Easystart rattling around in the back of my Mini van.

Could be a few reasons why a brand new diesel won't want to start, but he is quite right engines can't become addicted to easy-fart. I've had both landrovers starting on it before and then normal service resumed once i'd fixed the underlying issue.

Now if someone could explain why my 300tdi landrover engine won't start at the moment (even with easy-fart etc)would be just marvellous

We had a stroke of luck with the John Oh Dear. It had an argument with one of the quarry shovels, it was even more poorly after that.
