Hello,

Not sure if this is the right section as its not specifically electrical related (you can use these courses for most trades apparently. But anyway, as Im currently doing my 2330 level 2, im also trying to get as many other courses under my belt as possible. So just wondering if anyone knows which are the best ones to get??

So far I have: -

IPAF MEWPS Vertical boom and Scissor lift 3a and 3b
CSCS card (Opperative (the green one)
FAW (First Aid at Work 3 day course)

I am doing my PASMA and Working at heights within the next two weeks.

Is there any more out there that are worth getting??

1a is static boom 1b is van or lorry mounted.
Dave

Eh a Van or Lorry mounted Cherry pic is a Static boom as you cant move the Van or Lorry once you're on the Cherry pick

EDIT 1a is a static Scissor lift

Just wondering how much these types of courses cost on average as interested in maybe sitting some. I live in Norfolk, if anyone has sat some round this neck of the woods would like to know who they done it with.

I have a price list for sopme of my local ones, perhaps you can use these as a rough guide?

Heres a few that are on it: -

3 Day First Aid at Work: - £180 per person + vat
CITB 1 day health and safety awareness: - £70 per person + vat
Asbestos Awareness: - (half day course): - £70 per person + vat
Work at Height and Edge Protection (1 day): - £160 per person + vat
IPAF MEWP operator 3a and 3b: - £190 per person + vat

There are other courses too, but prices vary between providers so maybe shop around for the best deal.

Hope this is of some use to you. :)
