IR Testing

Local authority site manager asking me to carry out IR tests betwwn L/N joined to earth only due to not being able to get access to most items of equip plugged in whilst carrying out consumer unit changes, i know this is recognised as test 2 in GN3 but wondering how to write up cert?

put lim in L/N checkbox and write up on eic that test 2 was used, anyone agree or disagree with this?

If all was good I wouldn't bother writing LIM at all just the value!

I put N/V (not verified) in the L-N box, and fill the rest out normally, then in comments write test method 2 used for whatever etc.

agree with SirKit, don't think you should ever be putting "LIM" on a certificate (just for a Periodic)

I use "N/V" there are many times when it's not possible to verfiy like you've just pointed out.

I agree with howard too but in the box L and N put N/A not applicable as the test isnt applicable as youve used method 2
