Hi all,

I'm wondering if there is anyone one here that has or knows anything about working as an Electrician in the UK with Irish qualifications?

I completed my apprenticeship in Ireland in 2008 and have worked in the industry ever since, been a foreman and ran my own business for 5 yrs and even worked in Oz for 4 yrs.

I'm trying to get my trade recognized in the UK and ECCTIS said through their Skills Mapping that ;

"To meet the requirements for the UK Electrician Experienced Worker Qualification you will need to complete the following units here in the UK:
-Understand How to Plan and Oversee Electrical Work Activities (NETK3/03, OFQUAL K/507/7335)
-Understand Fault Diagnosis and Rectification (NETK3/07, OFQUAL F/507/7339)"

Has any experienced this?

Many thanks

TL;DR
Irish sparks UK
