Hi all.

Some of you might remember me from later last year - i was looking for some sort of traineeship and had a few things lined up but unfortunately my living situation was all up in the air and i had to decline the invitations to speak with some really promising companies. D'oh!

Now i'm all settled in my own house in the North East (300 miles from where i was living...now in the Peterlee/Sunderland/Durham area) and after failing to get anyone to take me on have decided to go back to college to do my Levels 2 and 3.

I wanted to sign up for the trainee forum but it needs me to give lots of my personal details. I may be down for this but the forum is private so before i give away my details i just wanted to know if the place is active/if it's worth doing or whether anything i might need to know will be answered by people in the other regular forums?

Thanks all, hope everyone is doing well in life and at work.

Onwards and upwards!

Phil.

Depends on what you are looking for. There are lots of old threads on there but explain to Dan you aren't keen on submitting your details, he isn't about too often so it may not happen immediately.

If you post a question on the trainee forum,
you are likely to get a detailed technical response.
most of the mentors are time served electricians or from other forms of electrical engineering backgrounds.

as above, send a message to Dan,
