Is the email from Dan Hartley legit? Re@ Lucien

Just got an email from someone called Dan Hartley. He has started a go fund me page for @Lucien Nunes . I just wanted to check it was legit as I get so many scam emails?

He is indeed the organiser of the fundraiser. If the email seems dubious, you can go straight to the gofundme page.

Edit: I note that a link to this morning's interview has been added to the page. Convenient for anyone like me who never managed to successfully gain access to BBC's iplayer.

if @Lucien Nunes has no idea who it is then it is likely a fraud.

He's a trustee of MEET.

While I can not be certain that someone hasn't appropriated names, I think it unlikely that those donating five figure sums haven't conducted due diligence and that a fraudulent fundraiser would have managed to evade detection for 18 months.

Edit: this is also promoted on Dan Hartley's linkedIn page. I'm quite confident that it is legitimate.
