Hi,
We want to install a myenergi Eddi , so we can heat our water boiler from solar.
Problem is, it has no bypass, so if it dies from mains transients, then we cant get any hot water until we get the electrican in to un-install it.
So how reliable is the Eddi?

And how suseptible to mains transient is that section of the mains house wiring where the Eddi will be?...ie near the boiler whose thermostat can suddenly switch OFF large amounts of current at any time.
