Opened an old wylex cu today and there was a 10m cable feeding stand alone breaker for shower fed from live side of main switch together with 25m/m tails is this acceptable practice? myself I would of split the tails.

Can't see how they would both fit into the same terminal ........unless they cut a few strands off each, either way not the done thing.

Its the age old story of 'one point of isolation' for the whole instal, however, many see this as the main service cut out.

Anyway, i would remove the 10mm from the wylex, bin it, and put new 25mm tails for the shower cu and 25mm for the main CU fed from a henly block.
