Saw this being done today .....

OK, its above the ceiling, but the same individual did the same before he dropped a connection on the RFC below the floorboards ...........

Not convinced that the MF rating is achieved by the tape ............. but willing to be persuaded.....

Be OK if it was Gorilla tape, that stuff sticks sheit to a blanket
 
I'm a bit new to wago , have seem them before , and used similar on panels (control wiring )
Obviously tested tried and tested
What's everyone's opinion on them as oppose a screw terminal
Are they fail safe
Anyone had problems with them

Use them ( or their equivalents) all the time now. Only had one problem where the use of a "push in" Wago was causing a high r1 reading on a ring final circuit.
 
No problems and a lot less stress than junction box screws when you are balanced above wads of insulation, and mouse droppings in a roof space on a hot day with wasps and blue bottles buzzing around.

Customers should always be reminded to remove all corpses from loft spaces,before work commences...;)
