Listen, join whatever union you want, It's a free and democratic country, however, Unite the Union was created from the various mergers over the years with other technical and engineering unions, most importantly the ETU (electricians trade union).
 
Why bother? All they want is to sell you insurance.
I was a EEPTU convenor, I wouldn’t have anything to do with them now!
