Hi guys read plenty of things on these forums and now have a problem to post...
Fitted a fan heater to a spur in a bathroom today. The spur is on 16A breaker and appears to be a radial. Fitted and switched on at DB and spur but no luck.
When i tested the spur I had 240v between line and earth, 12v between line and neutral and then 120v between neutral and earth.
At this point I isolated the circuit thought I’ll save that one for tommorow so just wondering has anyone experienced this before as I’ve never come accross this before

Been sparking for 1o years? matey I was Sparking as you put before you was born

Been at it a long time but had to look up how to wire a 2way cct when both supply and lamp feed are in same switch.......never wired them like that and never come across it as dont do much domestic.........so to be helpful if you are measuring L-N on output side of FSU could be poorly FSU neutral side, if you measured it on the input side then would trace cct back to breaker and find the neutral and test
