Hi all,

We've been asked to upgrade 450+ 6ft single fluorescent battens to LED. The client had requested for each fitting to be connected into the existing wiring via a plug and socket arrangement to aid the maintenance team in the future. The existing wiring will be reused and is 1.5mm 3-core & earth. At present the existing battens are hard wired.

Wondering if anyone has come across any other options to act as a PCR mounted on a BESA box? Looking for something quick - push fit connections for the hard wiring would be preferable

Straight swapping that number of fluorescents to LED may have issues with inrush current of LED.

Not sure if its less or more than fluorescents kicking in.
