mate/apprentice question

so ive been looking for work recently as im out of a job at the moment been looking for work as an apprentice but would it be better looking for work as a mate?

i have 2330 level 2 and 2/3 threw level 3 and have 7 months experience and would be confident rewiring a house on my own pretty much.
so would i see myself as a mate or a apprentice because ive still got abit to learn.
dont wanna apply for jobs if im not suitable.

apprentice , mate , electrical improover to go for.
have you got nvq3?
you could do house work as long as not notifiable or get electrician to sign work off.

would register for nvq3 before march deadline as otherwise you will need am2 as well,
to be able to work as an electrician properly (someones going to disagree!) you are going to need jib card stating electrician, to gain this card you will need nvq3.(you can start this now and take up to 3 years to finish it, you can do this self employed,employed or under 16 hours unemployed.
some training providers are asking for deposits alowing you to pay for it fully when your in a position.

if you are wanting to go into domestics
if you register with a body for domestic electrician before june you will not need nvq3
