Good afternoon,
I hope I am asking this in the correct place and apologies if not.
Firstly I am not a sparky but I have a question that will be straight forward for you guys on here.
I am going to be renting a small premises and the feed for my unit is coming from a 415v distribution in the adjoining unit. The feed will run to a board for my own use, it will just be 2 loops of sockets, 2 of lighting and a hot water cylinder. Or something along those lines.
The owner will bill me for electricity used - is it simply a case of having a 100ah meter (or something else) installed between the distribution board and my board? As I've mentioned I'm not a sparky myself but I would like to know the easiest way of setting up a metering system.
Thanks in advance.
