Discuss metrel instaltest 61557 again in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

I know you can print a test report maybe it puts the serial number on that ?? I have never used the report feature myself like but it could be worth a look.
 
Check your calibration certificates lads. Last time I got mine done it was printed on there. Giving them your own serial numbers is acceptable as long as the testers and all their equipment are identified by the same number. NIC registered companies I've worked for in the past have used bag numbers and they've said it was ok
