I think he should be given access to the arms to preach his **** in here so we can all laugh at him, and hes then not giving out terrible and ridiculous advice lol.

At some point some unsuspecting sole is going to follow his 'advice' and it's going to go horribly wrong for them. With the culture of 'sue everyone' he's going to be in the gooey brown stuff, and if it's posted on here then there may be issues for the forum too.

If I want amusement then there's plenty of opportunity to get it on the internet, TV, and seeing the results of some peoples work. Personally I'd ban him, make the posts sticky and give the reasons why his opinions are utter ****e.

I can't see any benefit in keeping them open and keeping his membership other than amusement for us but that amusement very quickly turns into exasperation then to rage.
I'm glad he's gone because his stupidity could have gotten a worthwhile member banned.

Can see everyones points of views, and when im putting my serious head on - mods you've done the right thing in banning him. It was only my selfish self that wanted him to remain, for the light entertainment - one of the finest comedians ive ever listened too. But, he's a menace and quite rightly banned.

All im left to say is...RIP David, i know most members wont miss you, but my selfish self will. See you in 2014 bro'!

Oh Dear! From Sky News 7:30 PM update-
Since being banned by a well known electrician's discussion forum renowned author Mr D W Cockburn has announced that he intends to spend the ban writing and self publishing an illustrated guide to the generation, transmission, and use of electrical energy. As he has so much time on his hands he expects the book to be extremely large "I'd guess at the moment it could run to as many as thirty five pages" he told their reporter.
He also said that he intends to dispel all of the myths involved in what is actually not a very complicated field despite what we are led to believe by the electricity supply companies. "I intend to show conclusive proof that electricity is actually thought waves generated by giant hamster's dreams while they are asleep and that you do not actually need to employ what is laughingly called a qualified electrician as contrary to what you are told they are all charlatans and only I know the full truth" he was heard to say.
Sky news believe that the self publication of this book could be delayed by his detention in a hospital for the criminally insane.
