Hi folks, I'm looking for a decent multi tool for boxing out a house which has wood lining all around the walls. I'd use a jigsaw but they're just quite big & awkward so I thought a wee multi tool would be the answer!
has anyone ever used one & if so can you recommend one?

cheers

try aldi. they had a 240V one @ £20. i missed out. maybe you local aldi has them.

Thanks guys I'll check them out! Yeah maybe a 110v would be better right enough! Cheers

I've got the Bosch blue 10.8V one and it's become an extension of my arm. Apart from cycling the batteries quickly as they take a hammering - the 10.8V little ones don't last that long - I can't fault it.

Got an Einhell one £39,seems fine.

I have the previous ALDI one, made by FERM...bit loud but it does the job...new version in this year has dust extraction, which is a handy thing.
Also very good for cutting floorboards, tiles etc.

I have the bosch multi tool, easy to get replacement blades. I use it lots and would struggle without it

I have a Worx Sonicrafter - NOT the more expensive Pro version, but it will do all I'll ever need.

I have the Bosch also. Get Saxton blades for it, works out around a third of the price of the branded ones.

I have the fein (230V), bought before anyone else made them. Excellent tool, still going well. Not used every day but so many jobs are much easier with it and some jobs would not be cost effective without it.

I use the "Worx WX675 250W Hyperlock Universal Sonicrafter" (recently seen on offer at Homebase for about £65 plus another 20% off for the Xmas sales!) It has tool less blade changing and can take most manufacturers blades.

Bosch have just bought out a 4ah bit pricey but bet it be the b****cks ! With those 10.8 v

Makita and Millwaukee also have the 4Ah batteries out, not had any reason to buy them yet.

With the 10.8 volt gear ?? Bosch is I've not seen it on other 10.8 volt gear ?
Millwaukee have it on there 12v stuff mind .
That 4ah is just wot that 10.8 GOP tool has needed if there is any complaint about that tool it's that it canes the batteries
