Confused on what multi meter to buy as so many on the market. Please can I have some advice on what one to buy. I don't want a cheap one as I want it to last.

unlike cheap meters the readings don't vary depending on the battery.Fluke 177, I've had one around 5 years now. It's been battered and abused. Still passes calibration every 6months with almost 0% deviation from the previous results.
