Not 100% sure but I have had a few of the books that have come up "new version available download now" and haven't been charged anything extra.

The Magic word in PME is the M, which stands for ''Multiple'' !!

If the neutral hasn't been earthed at multiple locations along a distribution cable length, then you are just inviting trouble/disaster by making your own TNC-S link....
