Does anyone know if a pan connector should be flush (Pic 1) with the top of the soil pipe where it has been inserted. Is there a chance it could go further in past the ring seal (Pic 2) and therefore impact the volume of water passing through at any one time. I saw a comment elsewhere that a piece of soil pipe should be put into the soil pipe joint first then pan connector into this??
Now the reason I ask is that a flush or two goes down, next might rise in the bowel before going down, hence by thought if the pan connector was to deep on the bend.
I suppose I will have to contemplate the idea that there is a partial blockage on the horizontal soil pipe (Pic 3) which feeds into the main vertical soil pipe (other upstairs toilet works fine). There doesn't seem to be much product to poor down there so my next main question is, is there a suitable toilet auger to put in the soil pipe, there are a lot of 'drain' related products so don't want to cause any issues if one of these was used. Following from Pic 2 (first bend), Pic 3 details further 90 deg bend, a run then a 45 deg then vertical soil pipe.
