O
Octopus
So today I went to renew my PIRform subscription for another year and I was somewhat perplexed to see that they have associated my licence with being an Elecsa member (which I am) and are asking for my registration number and won't release a new licence until they have verified my membership.
No I'm a little troubled by this as I bought the "general" version direct from PIRForm at Elex at Sandown Park which allows me to add or change logo's to suit myself.
So why have they done this I ask?
Anyone got any ideas? Had the same issue?
In the meantime I've sent them the following email:
"3 years ago at Elex in Sandown I purchased the "general" version of PIRform and in general I've been very happy with the software.
However, when I went to renew today you seem to have associated my renewal with my Elecsa scheme membership. I am somewhat perplexed as to why you have done this? I bought the "general" version of your software so that I would be able to add or change my logo and my chosen scheme membership as it suited me.
So why is there now a question about scheme membership? As far as I'm concerned this is nothing to do with PIRform.
I do note that I can say I'm not a member of either scheme, and if I select this option what are the ramifications?
Thanks in anticipation of a prompt response"
