Could i get some thoughts pls
Podpoint 7KW untethered installed 2 yrs ago, working fine with EQC mercedes.
Solar panel installed 3 yrs ago.
Last weeks installed growatt solar battery with ac coupled inverter.
First 2 nights on Octopus Go Tariff 00.30 to 4.30 both EV and Growat battery charged at full rate.
Last 3 nights, EV charging at variable rate starting at 3 kwh increasing quickly to 7 kwh for 20 mins, then varying between 3 to 7 kwh achieving the net of 4.8 kw per hour for 4 hrs (i.e total 19.2 kwh for 4 hrs and in the past 28.4 kwh for 4 hrs).
Switched off solar battery system for a night with no change
Podpoint reset to maximum rate remotely still charging at lower rate.
The DIP switches are set correctly at 1,1,0,0,0.
In th past i used to run electric heater, dishwasher same time as EV charging with no problems.
Looks like now, when something else is on (heater, dishwasher or solar battery), this seems to affect the EV charging rate but 4.8 kw per hour (19.2 kwh over 4 hrs) is consistent over last 3 nights
Could this be due to issue with podpoint CT clamp of podpoint thinking overload and adjusting the charging rate ?
